The Crown Prosecution Service said the boy, who has not been named for legal reasons, allegedly incited another person to carry out an attack at a Veterans’ Day parade in Australia with the aim of killing or causing serious injury to people.

The boy is also alleged to have incited someone to carry out a beheading in Australia.

The boy was charged with two offenses of inciting terrorism overseas and is due to appear in a London court tomorrow.

Police said the boy was arrested on April 2 after officers discovered communications between him and a man in Australia.

Five Australian teenagers were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of plotting an Islamic State group-inspired attack at an ANZAC Day ceremony in Melbourne.

Police said evidence suggested that the plot involved attacking police officers.

ANZAC Day is the annual April 25 commemoration of the 1915 Gallipoli landings, the first major military action fought by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps during World War I.
