Toronto (Canada) Toronto, Canada is witnessing a boom in infrastructure and development, thus, making it one of the most traffic-congested cities in North America. 

Milan (Italy) This historic city has seen vehicular traffic doubling up in recent times leading to bottlenecks and delays on the roads.

Lima (Peru) This is the fifth city in the world to have the most traffic congestion with the average travel time at 28 minutes and 30 seconds to reach the destination. 

Bengaluru (India) The Silicon Valley of India Bengaluru has also been mentioned on the list after acquiring the sixth position. The average time to travel is 28 minutes and 10 seconds.

Pune (India) The growing population and restricted width of roads are some of the reasons for the heavy traffic.

Bucharest (Romania) The ageing infrastructure along with the use of personal vehicles has increased traffic congestion on the roads leading to an increased average travel time of 27 minutes and 40 seconds. 

Manila (Philippines) The city has a congestion level of 46 per cent and an average travel time of 27 minutes and 20 seconds.

Brussels (Belgium) The city has narrow streets and high population density making it to the tenth position of most congested cities in the world.
