Maria Maria is the most popular name for girls around the world in 2025. This name secured a 77.9 per cent score. 

David  The name David is preferred for boys across 113 countries. It has secured a staggering 87.4 per cent score.

Sara Next on the list is Sara. A whopping 73.2 per cent of parents prefer to name their kids Sarah across the world.

Daniel For boys, another preferred name is Daniel, with the name securing 81 per cent.

Anna and Jessica The names Anna and Jessica have the same popularity at 58.1 per cent score. This makes them both a top choice among parents.

Alex Nearly 66.2 per cent of people have voted for the name Alex, making it a hit among parents.

Michael With a Biblical reference, Michael is one of the more popular names among the masses. It has secured 61.2 per cent of the votes.

John Another biblical name that has made it to the list is John, with a  57.4 per cent vote share.

Kevin Some parents are also keen on naming their boys Kevin, as the name has secured 47.9 per cent votes.
