9 effective stretches to relieve neck pain

Side-to-Side Neck Tilt: Gently tilt your head side to side, bringing your ear toward your shoulder to stretch the neck muscles.

Neck Rotation: Slowly rotate your head. Aim to look over each shoulder to enhance flexibility.  

Forward Neck Stretch: Lower your chin to your chest and hold to stretch the back of your neck.

Backward Neck Stretch: Tilt your head backward and lift your chin towards the ceiling to relieve tension in the front neck muscles.

Upper Trapezius Stretch: Sit up straight and gently pull your head toward one shoulder with the opposite hand.

Levator Scapula Stretch: Turn your head 45 degrees and gently pull down with your hand to target the levator scapula muscle.

Scalene Stretch: Tilt your head to one side while keeping your opposite shoulder down to stretch the scalene muscles.

Chin Tucks: Pull your chin back towards your neck. This creates a double chin to strengthen and stretch neck muscles. 

Corner Stretch: Stand facing a corner. Place your arms on the walls, and lean in to stretch your chest and neck.
