IIT Kanpur IIT Kanpur has secured the fifth position on the list and is renowned for its rigorous curriculum, research strengths, strong alumni network, and leadership in engineering sciences and education reform.

IIT Kharagpur At the sixth position is IIT Kharagpur, India’s first IIT. It is noted for its academic breadth, innovation hubs, and large-scale research output across engineering, sciences, and humanities.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi Ranked at the ninth position is JNU. It is a top public multidisciplinary university known for social sciences, humanities, liberal arts, research intensity, critical thought, and progressive campus culture.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi BHU has secured the tenth position in the overall category. It is a historic institution excelling across arts, sciences, engineering, medicine, and law, with multidisciplinary strengths and significant research contributions.
