MaharashtraMaharashtra ranks seventh, with approximately 61 per cent admitting to frequent profanity. The campaign reflects the urban and rural persistence of harsh language.
GujaratOver half of the participants in Gujarat report using abusive words. The findings suggest that even regions with less aggressive stereotypes face normalised swearing.
Madhya PradeshNearly 55 per cent of people in Madhya Pradesh confess to using profanity regularly. Surveys cite continued use of gendered slurs across social settings.
ChhattisgarhCrawling into the top‑10, Chhattisgarh sees 45 per cent prevalence. This survey shows that almost one in two residents accept or use abusive language.
