Chennai Smashers emerge as the winner of the Entertainers Cricket League Season 2; Bangalore Bashers runner ups!

The Entertainers Cricket League (ECL) Season 2 has concluded with a resounding success, culminating in a spectacular finale that saw the Chennai Smashers dominate the Bangalore Bashers by an impressive 10 wickets.

 This season, held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Cricket Stadium in Delhi from March 5 to March 16, 2025, featured eight teams, including popular YouTubers and influencers

The ECL Season 2 boasted a significant prize pool, with the winning team, Chennai Smashers, reportedly taking home a substantial cash prize of Rs 5 million, although there is also speculation about a prize of Rs 50 lakh for the winners. 

The season was marked by outstanding performances from several players, with Akash Yadav being named the Batter of the Tournament and Mahesh Keshwala securing the Bowler of the Tournament award. Ankit Nagar was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the Season.

Following the success of Entertainer’s Cricket League (ECL) Season 2, the team also met with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Ms. Rekha Gupta, to discuss the evolving role of digital creators

Rekha Gupta acknowledged their significant contribution to raising awareness, spreading positivity, and empowering the youth. She emphasized that digital creators are not just content producers but changemakers

 Upon elimination, Haryanvi Hunters Captain and YouTuber  Elvish Yadav wrote, “Dear team, First and foremost, I want to say how proud I am of each and every one of you. We’ve worked tirelessly as a team, supporting each other through the highs and lows, and that’s something to be incredibly proud of.”
