India’s famous wedding season has gone global — literally. A rising trend known as wedding tourism is drawing travellers from across the world to attend traditional Indian weddings as paying guests. Tourists from countries like Germany, the U.S. and Australia are booking curated experiences that let them join the festivities — from henna ceremonies and musical nights to lavish feasts and fireworks — for around $100 a ticket.
