Vice President JD Vance hosted Charlie Kirk's podcast on Monday, during which he said, "left-wing extremism" is "part of the reason" President Donald Trump’s ally Charlie Kirk was killed last week. "Of course, we have to make sure that the killer is brought to justice," Vance said. "And importantly, we have to talk about this incredibly destructive movement of left-wing extremism that has grown up over the last few years and, I believe, is part of the reason why Charlie was killed by an assassin's bullet." Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reaffirmed the administration’s pledge to deny and revoke visas for foreigners who, according to the government, glorify the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Speaking to Fox News, Rubio made clear the administration’s stance: “We should not be giving visas to people who are going to come to the United States and do things like celebrate the murder, the execution, the assassination of a political figure,” he said.
