United States President Donald Trump has arrived in the United Kingdom for his second state visit, describing it as a “great honour” to be hosted by King Charles III at Windsor Castle. The US president landed at the London Stansted airport with wife Melania Trump on Tuesday evening, where new UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper was among those greeting him as he stepped off Air Force One. During the first full day of his visit, Trump will meet King Charles III at Windsor Castle and attend a royal procession. He will end the day with a royal dinner at the castle. On day two, the President will meet the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, where the duo is expected to talk about trade and the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. Amid Trump’s UK visit, several tech deals were announced between both the countries, amounting to $42 billion. However, the US President’s UK visit also sparked protests, with some demonstrators displaying a picture of Trump with convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein on the walls of the Windsor Castle. Few other protests took place outside Windsor Castle.
