Former US President Donald Trump has compared his legal troubles to the persecution of Russian opposition leader and Putin critic Alexei Navalny, who died in an Arctic prison last week. Trump said Navalny was a brave man but should not have returned to Russia. Meanwhile, a survey by 154 scholars in the US ranked Trump as the worst president, even below those who failed to prevent the civil war. Donald Trump also revealed a shortlist for vice president which includes South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
