Insects are being hailed as superfoods in today’s time. The UN says they are rich in proteins and antioxidants. And now the Singapore Food Agency or the SFA, has approved a list of 16 insects that people in Singapore can now consume. The list has species of insects like crickets, honey bees, and worms. And all these insects have been deemed to be of low regulatory concern. And now, the food industry in Singapore is fluttering its wings with joy as it can finally sell insect delicacies.
