Kenyan Marathon runner Kelvin Kiptum’s final rites were performed today. The Kenyan government gave a state funeral to Kiptum as hundreds of people turned up to see the athlete for one last time. Kenyan Kelvin Kiptum and his Rwandan Coach Gervais Hakizimana were killed in a car crash on the 11th of February which shocked the sporting fraternity and the world. Kiptum had humble backgrounds and conquered Marathons to become one of the most popular long-distance runners ever.
