Elon Musk has revealed a surprising personal link to India during a podcast with an Indian entrepreneur. While discussing family and identity, the Tesla chief disclosed that his partner, Shivon Zilis, is half-Indian. He added that one of their twin sons carries the middle name Sekhar, inspired by Nobel Prize-winning astrophysicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar. Musk clarified that Zilis, a Canadian tech executive and senior Neuralink leader, was adopted as a baby and born to a Punjabi mother and a Canadian father, giving their children a multicultural lineage. The conversation later shifted to parenthood, with Musk urging the host to consider having children and sharing his belief that humanity “must have kids or go extinct.”
