President Donald Trump has cautioned that the United States might reconsider its financial assistance to Argentina if his close ally, President Javier Milei, fails to secure victory in the upcoming legislative elections. During Milei’s visit to the White House, Trump expressed confidence in the Argentine leader’s economic vision but made it clear that continued US backing depends on the election results. The Trump administration has pledged a massive 20 billion dollar support package to help revive Argentina’s troubled economy. However, despite these assurances, markets remain unstable and Milei’s approval ratings show little improvement ahead of the critical midterm vote scheduled for October 26.
