India’s partnership with Africa has reached a new milestone as trade surpasses $100 billion, making New Delhi one of the continent’s top five investors. At the India–Africa Business Enclave in New Delhi, Minister Kirti Vardhan Singh highlighted cooperation in petroleum, machinery, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, textiles, and agriculture, with Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania as key partners. India has provided $12 billion in concessional loans, $700 million in grants, and 50,000 scholarships for African youth. With initiatives in clean energy, disaster resilience, and digital growth, Prime Minister Modi’s Global South agenda envisions Africa as a partner in sustainable development and value creation.
