Former Congo President sentenced to death on the charges of treason |Firstpost Africa

A high military court on Tuesday sentenced former President of Democratic Republic of Congo, Joseph Kabila to death. It was done on the charges of treason which specifies war crimes, and other serious offences. He was found collaborating with Rwanda-backed rebel group, M23 which launched lightning offensives. The sentence which was ruled specified that he was also involved in murder, rape and torture along with insurrectionist movement.
