Chad’s government has ended its 15-year partnership with African Parks, a conservation group whose board includes Prince Harry. The government accused the non-profit of failing to curb poaching and showing disrespect toward local authorities. African Parks, which manages over 20 reserves across Africa, said it is in talks with Chad to resolve the issue. The group had overseen Chad’s Ennedi Reserve and Greater Zakouma Ecosystem, vital for elephant protection. The move marks another setback for Prince Harry’s conservation work, following his exit from Sentebale, the charity he co-founded to help children orphaned by AIDS in southern Africa.
