African jobs in limbo as AGOA expires| Firstpost Africa

African Growth and Opportunity Act expired in September 30, puzzling the job sector in Africa, raising a concern among workers and businesses. The U.S. initiative has provided duty-free access for African goods, benefiting at least 32 countries over 25 years. South Africa has been the top exporter of crude oil, motor vehicles and jewellery. This act has benefitted job sector giving a rise to the economy. The US officials have hinted in one-year extension while there is not confirm news about the same.
