. “As you can see, our family members have not shifted anywhere and do not intend to do so either. We are very much in Bisara,” Jamil, Akhlaq’s elder brother, told PTI near Dadri in Uttar Pradesh, about 60 km from the national capital. He, however, said the family may decide to move out for 2-4 months, if required. Jamil said members of the family, specially Akhlaq’s duaghter and mother were finding it difficult to lead a normal life after the night of September 28. “She (Akhlaq’s mother) is not in a condition to speak any more. What can a person say when her son has been beaten to death before her eyes,” he said. Jamil said they will never leave Bisara permanently where 5 generations of his family have lived and died. Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate Nagendra Prasad Singh said the family has been provided round-the-clock police protection.
