UK's Chester Zoo has welcomed two very special and rare new arrivals – Northeast African cheetah brothers, Kendi and Tafari. The one-year-old siblings have arrived as part of international efforts to help safeguard their species from becoming extinct – with fewer than 500 remaining in the wild. Northeast African cheetahs are one of the world’s rarest big cats and are classified as 'Endangered' according to the IUCN Red List.

The water, extracted from a melting block of Greenland ice, is travelling through Brazil’s most iconic religious sites ahead of the COP30 climate summit. - This day in history: In 2008, Barack Obama was elected as the 44th president of the United States.
