Near the US Capitol building in Washington DC a pop-up statue of US President Donald Trump and late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was seen with both of them holding each others hand. This attracted people's attention with passerby stopping to capture a glimpse.

- On this day in 1932, B.R. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi agreed upon the Poona pact. They had sparred over the allocation of separate electorates for Dalits. Ambedkar was in favour of it but Gandhi thought it would divide the society. So, the two leaders reached an agreement. The Poona Pact scrapped the idea of separate electorates for Dalits but it increased the number of reserved seats for them.
