Thousands of doctors in South Korea are protesting plan to increase admission quota in medical schools. The government wants more doctors because the nation has one of the lowest ratios between doctors and people. With a rapidly ageing population, a robust healthcare system is the need of the hour. so far, both doctors and the government have refused to budge. And ordinary citizens are getting cause in the tussle. Surgeries are being delayed and patients are being turned away from hospitals. Palki Sharma tells you more.
