Russia launched more than 400 drones and 40 missiles against Ukraine overnight, with most intercepted by Ukrainian air defences. Nineteen drones crossed into Polish airspace, prompting NATO jets to fire back for the first time since the war in Ukraine began. Three drones were confirmed destroyed, while one struck a house in eastern Poland, causing damage but no injuries. Poland called the incident an "act of aggression," and invoked NATO's Article 4 for urgent talks with allies. Moscow denied targeting Poland, while Belarus claimed the drones lost course. European leaders condemned the incursion. President Zelensky warned it was deliberate.
