India is set for a landmark in space exploration as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) gears up for its maiden Gaganyaan test mission this December. The uncrewed flight will pave the way for India’s first manned mission to space. The announcement was made by ISRO Chairman Dr V. Narayanan during a media interaction with Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who recently returned from the International Space Station (ISS). Shukla said India is “ready” for the milestone mission that will showcase the country’s growing space capabilities.
