Protests in Iran have entered their second week, spreading to nearly the entire country as demonstrators clash with security forces over economic hardship and political grievances. What began with anger over the collapsing rial and skyrocketing prices has turned into widespread calls against the regime. Iran’s security forces have responded with tear gas and force, and at least 36 protesters have died, with thousands arrested.
