The Indian army is reportedly converting its Area Headquarters Uttar Bharat into a full-fledged Corps Headquarters. The new formation is structured to hold 3 divisions with up to 15,000 troops in each division. The new Corps 18 is being formed to focus on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
