A political crisis has erupted in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The state’s Chief Minister, who belongs to the ruling Congress party, says he has not resigned yet. However, the BJP claims the ruling Congress has lost the people’s mandate. On Tuesday, the BJP won the only Rajya Sabha seat in the state.
