Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been sentenced to five years in prison in the Libya corruption case after the court of Paris found him guilty of criminal conspiracy where there was a funding in his 2007 presidential elections. Slamming the verdict as "politically motivated", Sarkozy said will sleep in prison with his "head held high".
