A massive fire swept through multiple high-rise residential towers in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district, killing at least 14 people and leaving several others trapped inside the burning buildings. Police evacuated nearby blocks as flames engulfed the 31-storey towers, while two victims remain in critical condition with severe burns. A section of Tai Po Road, one of the city’s major highways, was shut, causing significant traffic disruption. Authorities say the cause of the blaze is still unknown. Palki Sharma tells more.
