Cocoa prices recently it a 46-year high. The rise in the price of cocoa futures is due to the failing cocoa crop in Ghana & Ivory Coast. Cocoa trees in the West African countries have been suffering from a virus outbreak. Seeing the surging cocoa prices, Wall Street Hedge Funds decided to get in on the action. Their speculative trading has been fuelling the surge in Cocoa prices. The surge won't benefit farmers immediately. And Chocolate customers will eventually foot the bill. Palki Sharma tells you more.
