More than 180 mm of rainfall is expected within just 12 hours, overwhelming roads and flooding towns. Emergency services are rescuing people trapped in cars and homes, while major routes like Ibiza’s E-10 remain closed. Mallorca has also been placed on yellow alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms. Residents have been urged to avoid travel, stay clear of flood-prone areas, and seek higher ground.
