China has developed a futuristic hypersonic missile capable of changing its shape mid-flight by folding in for increased speed and extending wings for better maneuverability. Laboratory experiments and hardware simulations confirm that its control systems can manage moving components even under extremely high temperatures. However, experts caution that the missile remains in the prototype stage and has yet to be proven effective in real combat situations.
