Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V50 in India, bringing a sleek design, powerful internals, and AI-driven features. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and boasts a massive 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. One of its standout highlights is the dual 50MP camera setup on the rear, complemented by a 50MP front camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.

With an ultra-slim 7.39mm profile, the Vivo V50 is claimed to be the slimmest smartphone in its segment. It also meets IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and splashes. Additionally, the device is packed with AI features, including Circle to Search, Transcript Assist, and Live Call Translation, enhancing both productivity and user convenience.

The Vivo V50 features a 6.77-inch full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals. The screen offers up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and a pixel density of 387ppi, ensuring vibrant colours and crisp details.

For photography enthusiasts, the rear setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS), along with a 50MP ultrawide shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture is present. Vivo has collaborated with Zeiss to enhance the camera experience, and the phone includes features like Aura Light, Erase 2.0, and Light Portrait 2.0 for improved photography.

Under the hood, the Vivo is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device runs on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15, offering a smooth and customisable user experience.

The Vivo V50 houses a massive 6,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage, and supports 90W wired fast charging for quick refuelling. For security, the handset includes an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for seamless unlocking.

Connectivity options on the Vivo V50 include dual 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, OTG, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port for fast data transfer and charging. The phone’s durability is reinforced with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water splashes, further enhancing its reliability for everyday use.

The Vivo V50 is available in three variants, with prices starting at Rs. 34,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 36,999, while the top-end 12GB + 512GB version costs Rs. 40,999. It will be available for purchase starting February 25 via Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s official e-store.

Pre-bookings are currently live, and buyers can also avail of an exclusive offer on the Vivo TWS 3e earbuds, which will be available at a discounted price of Rs. 1,499 instead of Rs. 1,899 with the purchase of the smartphone. The Vivo V50 is available in three colour options—Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey, catering to different style preferences.
