TCL launches the 115-inch X955 Max QD Mini LED TV, the biggest television in India

TCL, a leading consumer electronics and smart TV brand in the world launched 115X955 Max, India’s and supposedly the world’s largest QD Mini LED TV, offering superior picture quality and an immersive viewing experience. The newly launched product is a premium QD Mini LED 4K TV with a 115-inch display size. The company claims that it is the world’s first QD Mini LED TV with 20,000+ local dimming zones.

Philip Xia, General Manager of TCL India, said, “Being recognized as a global leader, it is our endeavour to continue pushing the innovation boundaries in the TV industry. The 115X955 Max is more than a technological marvel. It demonstrates our commitment to deliver superior entertainment experiences to our valued customers and the Indian market.”

At the recently held Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, TCL showcased a wide array of products, including the debut of the 115-inch X955 Max, which drew considerable attention. Literally days later, to cater to the evolving technological needs of Indian consumers, TCL is now bringing the 115X955 Max to India. The first of its kind was presented to India’s cricket captain, Rohit Sharma, who unveiled the product here.

Key features

Powered by the Google TV operating system, the TCL 115X955 Max is a QLED Pro TV with mini LED backlighting that supposedly offers 98% DCI-P3 ultra-high colour gamut. The mini LED TV is equipped with an AiPQ Pro processor to ensure high performance with TCL’s AI-powered processing unit enhancing the picture and sound quality of the TV.

This TV can get up to 5000 nits bright and comes with 20,000+ dimming zones for superior contrast and better image quality. It is Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ compliant for a vivid HDR output. It is also equipped with an Onkyo 6.2.2-channel speaker system to raise the standard for home entertainment.

Infused with Game Master technology, this TV allows gamers to enjoy ultra-smooth gameplay with 144 Hz refresh rate, ALLM 10 ms, Game Bar for real-time game stats and Free Sync Premium Pro for tear-free visuals. For smart features, the TV integrates Multi-View 2.0 for simultaneous content viewing, and support for HomeKit and Airplay2 for seamless connectivity with Apple devices.

The newly launched TCL X955 Max 115-inch QD Mini LED TV will be available for purchase from 14th January 2025 on offline retail stores like Reliance Digital and Croma and online marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart. The TV is priced at a whopping Rs 29,99,990 in India. This TV will be available for pre-booking for a limited time.
