Micromax is an Indian company majorly known for its smartphones. It is a big player in budget segment smartphones and feature phones in India. Apart from these, Micromax also manufacturers Tablets and two-in-one devices. The company has also launched a sub-brand Yu, whose products are made available only through online e-commerce platforms in India. The company has entered in health and fitness gadgets as well with its Yu brand. In terms of Tablet, it launched Canvas Plex Tab in august 2017. It comes with 8.0-inch display and a resolution of 1024*600 pixels. Micromax Canvas Plex Tab runs on Android 5.1 and is a single sim tablet, which accepts micro Sim. It supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G/4G, USB OTG and includes Proximity sensor and Accelerometer. It is powered by 1,3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382W/M processor and supports 3GB RAM. For storage, it comes with 32GB memory, which cannot be expanded. In terms of optics, Micromax Canvas Plex Tab features a 5MP primary rear camera and 2MP front shooter for selfies.
