Spice on Thursday unveiled its new Stellar Horizon Pro Mi 505, an Android based dual-SIM smartphone priced at Rs 8,499.
TM Ramakrishnan, CEO Devices, said, “We have received phenomenal success with Stellar Horizon Mi 500 launched in 2012. We have followed it up with this enhanced version with exciting features at a more attractive price point. We are confident that the Horizon Pro will offer best value for money to its users.”
The phone, which runs on Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich, is being touted as a ‘super slim’ device and features a 5-inch capacitative touchscreen.
Other features include a 1Ghz dual core processor, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB via micro SD card.
The device promises a superior user interface and has GPS Navigator software, Facebook, pre-loaded Google and YouTube, FM radio and MP3 Player, Wi-fi and Bluetooth.
It will be interesting to see how the device fares, given that there are a number of cheap smartphones in the same price range that offer better specs.
