Sony has launched a new smartphone in India with a 5-inch screen and a quad-core processor. The Sony Xperia C is priced at Rs 21,490 and is a dual-SIM smartphone. The smartphone has a 5-inch screen with qHD resolution at 960 x 540 pixels. It has unto 4GB memory and comes with support for a microSD card with a limit of 32 GB. The smartphone supports 3G and 2G connectivity. It runs Android 4.2.2 build of Jelly Bean. According to Sony, the smartphone offers upto 10 hours of talktime on 3G and 2G. It has an 8 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, flash and support Full HD video recording. The front camera is a VGA camera. Sony is offering headphones worth Rs 1,490 with the Xperia C for free.
