Samsung today launched two new versions of its flagship device the Galaxy S4 in India: Galaxy S4 mini and the Galaxy S4 Zoom. The S4 mini is priced at Rs 27,900 while the S4 Zoom is priced at Rs 29,900. Samsung is also offering free 50 GB Dropbox space and a Flip Cover for S4 Zoom buyers. As an introductory offer, users of Reliance network will get 2GB data free on 3G for three months should they buy either of these phones. Samsung also announced that they have sold nearly 15 million Galaxy branded devices in India till date and said that the Samsung Galaxy Grand has been one of the best selling devices, outselling even low-end budget smartphones in India. Key features of the Galaxy S4 Zoom: The 6 Megapixel rear camera with a powerful CMOS Sensor, 10x Optical Zoom, OIS and Xenon Flash. Samsung says that this feature makes it only the smartphone in the world with a 10x Optical Zoom. It pretty much looks like a regular digital camera from the back and the phone is big and heavy, at 208 grams and 15.4 millimeters thick — almost double the thickness of the original Galaxy S4. At the demo station, the phone did feel rather heavy but there is no doubt that the picture clarity on this phone is quite good. It might appeal to those who like to whip out their smartphone every now and then for a photo. The processor is 1.7 GHz dual-core, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded to 64 GB via microSD card. It also has a 1.9 MP front camera.
