Samsung Galaxy Round, the world’s first smartphone with a curved OLED screen has been officially launched today. The smartphone which has a 5.7-inch full HD AMOLED screen is currently only out in South Korea, although it is not known whether Samsung will be launching the smartphone in other markets. Key features of the smartphone include: 2.3 GHz quad-core application processor (AP) 3GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera, with a 2,800mAh battery. The smartphone supports LTE A or Advance for faster 4G Internet. The Galaxy Round’s 5.7-inch (14.4-centimetre) display has a slight horizontal curve, is 7.9mm thick and weighs 154g which is less than the Galaxy Note 3 which weighs around 168 g. All you have to do is push down on one side of the screen and the information will be displayed. Gravity Effect Allows visual interaction with the screen by tilting the device. The Bounce UX enables users to control their music even when display is off. while the music player is on, a short press to the left of the device will play the previous track while a short press to the right will play the next track. Side Mirror feature enables users to gain access to list of photo album content with a left and right tilt.
