Just a day after ChatGPT revealed GPT-4o, Google introduced Project Astra during Google I/O 2024, signalling another leap forward in AI. Like ChatGPT-4o, Project Astra has the remarkable ability to quickly respond to human queries in various forms, or multimodal manner, which makes it perfect to be a virtual or AI assistant.

To demonstrate its capabilities, Google shared a captivating video where a person interacted with the AI assistant in real-time using voice commands, offering a glimpse into the seamless integration of AI into everyday tasks.

For those unaware’ OpenAI’s GPT-4o boasts similar capabilities, which enables it to have a real time conversation and identify and process rather complex images, including human emotions. This marks a significant milestone in the development of AI.
