Pictures of Sony Xperia Honami with 20 megapixel camera leaked

Pictures of Sony’s next flagship device the Xperia Honami have been leaked by a blog called GadgetHelpline. Sony is expected to launch the smartphone at a press event on 4 September in Berlin during ahead of the annual IFA consumer electronics forum. The upcoming smartphone is rumoured to have a 20 megapixel camera and is codenamed Honami’ or ‘Xperia i1’. According to GadgetHelpline, the photos reveal the design of the smartphone will be similar to other Xperia models with is much rectangular in shape. The report states that, the phone looks to be very slim and sports the same squared edges and corners, plus pop-up flaps to cover all card ports and sockets – minus the headphone jack, which is exposed.  [caption id=“attachment_982745” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Sony Xperia Honami from Gadget Helpline.[/caption] GSM Arena has also put out the specs sheet for the smartphone which are a 5-inch 1080p display, 2.2GHz quad-core Krait 400 CPU and 2GB of RAM on a Snapdragon 800 chipset. The battery remains non-removable and will be 3000mAh. Like the Xperia range, the smartphone should be water and dust-proof as well.
