[caption id=“attachment_280698” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] In the run up for the upcoming Apple event, a leaked image shows the iPhone 6s in Rose Pink. It’s a subtle light pink, and not the bright colour we saw with iPhone 5c. The photos were leaked on Chinese social media and reportedly, the rosy pink device looks almost identical to the current iPhone 6. (Image: i4u)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_280704” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Another image showing the display assembly of the supposed iPhone 6s had surfaced online. At a glance, the upcoming devices have taken design cues from their predecessors and may not see many design changes. (Image: MIC Gadgets)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_280703” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] A leaked image showing a prototype of the next iPhone’s logic board surfaced online too. Reportedly, a new NFC chip inside the iPhone 6S is from NXP and labelled 66VP2. (Image: 9to5mac)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_280702” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] In addition, it appears that the iPhone 6S at maximum, may be 0.13mm thicker than the iPhone 6. The 6S is claimed to be an indiscernible 0.16mm taller than the 6, as well as 0.13mm wider too (Image: 9to5mac)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_280701” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Along with a ‘slight shrinkage’ in size of the iPhone 6S’s logic board, Apple appears to be reducing the number of chips it uses for its phone. It may use a Cirrus Logic audio chip, a Murata Wi-Fi module, and wireless power amplifiers from RFMD, Triquint, Avago and Skyworks within the iPhone 6S. (Image: 9to5mac)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_280699” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] It was earlier known that Apple has started production of its next-gen iPhone featuring Force Touch, and now the latest leaked images further suggest the same. Force Touch is the haptic feedback feature that was introduced this year in the Apple Watch along with the new MacBook. The Force Touch technology lets the device detect varying levels of input pressure by deploying electrodes around its screen. (Image: GeekBar)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_280700” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Electrodes are embedded around the flexible OLED display that help detect the deformation caused by a press/tap/swipe. This force is then translated to operations by adding an extra layer of control to multi-touch system. (Image: GeekBar)[/caption]
