Slingshot is Facebook's take on Snapchat, the ephemeral messaging app. We also saw the company dishing out some quick updates for the app. Besides text messages, user can also take a video or photo and sling it (aka send it) to other users. To open a ‘Sling’ that users receive, the recipient also needs to send a sling to the original user. Users could also choose to react to a sling by just double-tapping on the ‘sling’ received.
