Quick first impressions of the Tegra K1 sporting Xiaomi MiPad, launched in India Rs 12,999

The MiPad sports a 2048x1536 pixel resolution with a pixel density 326ppi. It has been launched in India for Rs 12,999[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_243716” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The MiPad sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It has a plastic back which is available in many colours[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_243715” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The right hand edge of the MiPad has the power/standby and the volume rocker buttons. The MiPad runs Android 4.4.4 and you have the MIUI skin on top[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_243721” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The quick notifications menu on the Xiaomi MiPad looks just like that on the iOS. In fact if you hide the Mi branding on top, the tablet looks eerily similar to the iPad Mini[/caption]
