Computex 2015: MediaTek's LinkIt IoT platform is being used in kids shoes to smartwatches to scooters

It integrates electric scooters, an app, cloud computing, student ID and NFC sensors to manage the complete rental lifecycle including return of the scooters. It has 4MB of RAM and helps a parent know the GPS location of their child through an app. These shoes come with their own wireless charging dock and parents can also set geoboundaries which ring an alarm every time your child goes out of the set boundary[/caption]
