Computex 2015: HP Sprout all-in-one PC redefines the way you do computing; uses Intel RealSense 3D camera

[caption id=“attachment_269721” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] HP Sprout is basically an 23-inch all-in-one PC which has an overhead projector (over the monitor) and uses a setup of cameras and sensors to take inputs via gestures and it uses a 20-point capacitive touch mat which acts as a keyboard and a mouse tracker rolled into one[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269722” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The projector seen on top of the HP Sprout, projects images and applications on to the mat below, with which you can interact[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269723” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The base of the HP Sprout has a neat metallic design with just three soft touch keys for keyboard, power and home button[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269725” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] HP Sprout seen from the side. There are two USB 3.0 ports on the right hand side. You also see the mat at the base which has a 20-point touch sensitivity. Under the hood, the HP Sprout has an Intel Core i7 processor[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269726” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] On the left hand side you have an SD card slot, a headphone jack. The speaker section is present on the base of the display. The screen is also touch sensitive[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269724” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Seen here is a variation of the projection of a Pianotime app, which had the music chart on the display. You can play the piano on the projection[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269727” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Some of the interactive applications on the HP Sprout PC and the gallery section which has some 3D scans of objects placed on the map[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269728” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The depth sensor and the infra-red camera on the Intel RealSense unit enable you to easily perform 3D scanning of objects, which can then be rotated around on screen or you can even take a 3D print out of them[/caption]
