Computex 2015: From Thor to Captain America to a Lego command centre; case modding at its best at Computex

Seen at this booth was the case Tri-Max by Mike Petereyns which has a system, 2.1 speaker system and liquid cooling (Image: Nimish Sawant)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269747” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Two more case-mods from the Cooler Master booth: on the left is the Black Templar Mod by Modder Crew and on the right you have the Game of Thrones inspired case mod, which we are sure would find lots of takers (Image: Nimish Sawant)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269745” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The Project X open case mode employing Kingston’s HyperX Savage SSDs was placed beside the Thermalthor case. This mode was done by Marcus C Vestergaard (Image: Nimish Sawant)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269735” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] This looks like the engine of a superbike, but is actually a fully functioning PC complete with the red and black theme of the Asus ROG series. Made by Ai Mask, this case mod was a showcase of the Asus ROG booth at Computex (Image: Nimish Sawant)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269736” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] It was refreshing to see a case mod which will not occupy a football stadium. This Lego Command Centre shaped like a robotic dog housed the Asus Maximus VII motherboard (Image: Nimish Sawant)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269741” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Lot of case-modders drew inspiration from the Avenger series. The transparent acrylic sheets on the sides help you see the components inside. German case-maker Nanoxia got together the best case modders from Europe for this project (Image: Nimish Sawant)[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_269748” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Seen here is a closeup of the Nanoxia Project, which shows how each component has been water cooled in a modular fashion.
