Asus Z170 Deluxe: The high-end board for Intel Skylake upgrades is here

It is priced at Rs 28,220[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277163” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The Asus Z170 Deluxe houses an LGA 1151 socket which is surrounded by extremely sturdy heatsinks around the voltage regulator modules. There are four DDR4 RAM slots on the right hand side[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277168” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] An interesting bit of the board is that it has a hard metallic shroud around the back panel IO which goes all the way down to cover the Crystal Sound 3 audio section[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277165” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The back panel IO has the HDMI and DisplayPort along with an optical audio out; the 3x3 dual band Wi-fi and Bluetooth 4.0 ports; USB Type-C port and 5x USB 3.1 type A ports; two LAN ports, a USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port and an 8-channel audio port[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277164” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] On the other side of the board you have six SATA 6Gbps ports and an M.2 port[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277162” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The Asus Z170 deluxe comes with two PCIe 3.0 slots, one PCIe 2.0 slot and four PCIe x1 slots. At the base of the board there are dedicated power and reset buttons along with clear CMOS button and a two digit POST error code LED[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277160” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] The shroud surrounds the audio section of the motherboard and also electromagnetically isolates it from the rest of the board[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277169” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] On the other side of the board, you have steel back plates behind the LGA socket and the VRM region[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_277170” align=“aligncenter” width=“1280”] Among the regular accessories, you have a Hyper M.2 x4 mini PCIe x1 part in case you want to add in a PCIe SSD to the board[/caption]
