Nokia today launched its affordable smartphone, the Lumia 625 which has 4G connectivity and a 4.7-inch super-sensitive LCD screen. The smartphone runs Windows 8 and comes with 1.2GHz Dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB memory space. It also has a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, video shooting at 1080p@30fps and a VGA front facing camera. It also comes with 7GB of online SkyDrive storage. The Nokia Lumia 625 also offers SD memory card support, allowing up to 64GB of additional content storage. Nokia Lumia 625 also has the option of five colours orange, yellow, bright green, white and black. The Nokia Lumia 625 also the integrated Nokia camera applications called Nokia Smart Camera and Cinemagraph, which lets users add movement to their photos. Nokia says that the Lumia devices now offer more than 165,000 apps including Vimeo, Temple Run and WhatsApp. The estimated retail price is 220 Euros before taxes and subsidies which is approximately Rs 17,300 at current rates. It will begin selling in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America in Q3 2013.
